This is an Avant-Garde project for womenswear spring summer collection. The idea of ‘Crystalline’ tells about reflection, transmitting light, glow, see-through and structure distinctness. so in this collection there are presented the characteristics of crystals. the silhouettes and also the materials are more-to-be modern and particular. i took inspiration mostly about minerals and natural objects to understand well the character of crystal objects. the development was influenced a lot by issey miyake. i also got inspires by a song called Crystalline by Bjork to get into the mood. eventhough the shapes are structured, there are still some touch of sensuality and femininity through transparency and layers.

Cosmicollision is a womenswear collection for Spring / Summer 2015 made by Rufina Ayu Ananto, takes inspiration that comes from two different dimensions, present and future. The collection represents a moving surface and contamination. The futurism movement that influences this collection is specifically, Science Fiction. The idea of the futurism is blend with modernity, which has the shape more minimal and clean. Mix material is obviously presented in the collection. There are also Japanese influences: the idea of reconstruction, asymmetry, and origami, also an interpretation of kimono. The philosophy behind the collection is bout a period when the present has to face the future, when the earth and all the elements within being contaminated by the future world, the period when the cosmic collides with a new dimension that is correlated to the idea of spaceship, extraterrestrials and galaxy. They are interpreted through the looks, Cosmicollision represents modern designs, with structured silhouettes, but yet having some sense of sensuality and femininity through cutouts and some appearance of skin. The looks are seemed to be chic, fresh and slightly sensual, packed-up in the combination between bright and neutral colors. Neutral stands for the earth surface, bright and shiny refers to the future.
molekul spread materials: silikon buffer, fabric glue fabric: PVC, organza inspired by the sparks spread in the galaxy.
