orthern Light Collection is inspired by the clean Scandinavian nature and design traditions. The rugs are hand-knotted and made of 100% high-quality viscose. The use of viscose lends the rugs an exclusive, almost silk-like look. The slightly shiny finish gives the rugs a unique look and feel. Every rug is unique. The colours, design and quality are chosen carefully in close collaboration with DIS Inredning in Stockholm. The rug’s uniform elegance matches the mini malist Scandinavian design culture.

very Rezas high-quality hand-made modern rug is totally unique and showcases our attention to detail and passion for craftsmanship. Our beautiful hand-knotted rugs are made from 100% viscose or a wool & viscose blend.
Hand-knotted & hand-made Each rug starts its life as wool or viscose that is spun into rich, colourful yarns used by the expert rug knotters. Then the beautiful yarns are knotted into stunning rugs. This is a time-consuming process and a single rug can take several months. After the knotting process, the rugs look far from finished. They are then washed using simple, traditional methods and tools under open skies. When the washing is complete, the rugs are dried in the sun.
The rugs are stretched on wooden frames and laid out on roofs and large terraces to dry. It’s an incredibly beautiful sight to look out over the small towns with countless colourful carpeted roofs dotting the skyline. Our buyers then individually select the rugs that are attractive enough to join Rezas’ collection of unique handmade rugs.

ur Northern Light and Cosmou collections are made of 100% viscose. The surface of a viscose rug is soft like silk. Our Damask and Seduction collections are made of viscose mixed with high quality wool. This unique mix of materials makes the elegant rugs not only luxurious, but also soft, comfortable and durable.
We have seen examples of the use of cheap viscose and that has given it a bad reputation in rug production. That’s why we demand that our suppliers always use the best quality viscose. High quality viscose gives the best shine, long-lasting durability and fantastic colours. We also use viscose with a special durable kind of dyeing that cannot be washed out.
Like many other materials, there is a big difference when using the best quality viscose instead of the cheapest quality. The same applies with wool.
No matter which material viscose rugs are combined with, they maintain the charm of a completely natural rug. They always have a smooth touch and give you the feeling of walking on velvet.
