he first day at school is a big step for someone in tiny shorts and a finest memory for his parents. The environment at kindergarten school should be able to soothe the overwhelmed little heart and should be able to create a sense of security and a feeling of enthusiasm to interact with the surroundings for someone venturing out of home for the first time. This is the age the children pick up ability to think, use and recognize language and their fine motor skills will be developed through play, art, dance, music, movement and interacting with others. The environment in a Kindergarten school should nurture the child to positively engage him with these activities with ease and enthusiasm. Designing a Kindergarten school kindles the creative instinct of the designer and also calls for detail study about both physical and cognitive needs of the child and his interaction with his immediate environment.
