Annually, Rural Leader Magazine recognizes 40 young leaders from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia for exemplary leadership and achievement. Nominations will be accepted January 15-March 15. Nominees must be from a small community, be under 40 on September 1, and reside in Alabama, Florida, or Georgia. Nominees may self-nominate or be nominated by an individual, group, or organization.

Honorees will be featured in the September 2023 Edition of Rural Leader Magazine with the top 4 on the cover. In lieu of a honors luncheon, this year's award ceremony may be virtual. However, if circumstances allow, the Honors Celebration will convene in person at a location and time to be announced prior to September. Additional details are forthcoming.
