Veronda Ford Age: 31 Hometown: McDonough, GA Profession: Author, Consultant, & Therapist Veronda Ford is gifted, talented and passionate about people, community and human advancement for all. At a young age, she started her own nonprofit organization to address disparities among rural areas and populations. In 2012, Veronda founded Cultivating Healthier Options In Communities Everywhere International Inc. She served as the executive director and was responsible for leading teams of volunteers and developing collaborations.
In 2009, Veronda earned dual degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology at Mercer University. In 2012, she earned a Master of Public Health also at Mercer School of Medicine; she is a Certified Health Specialist. In 2017, she earned a Master of Social Work at the University of Georgia. Veronda is a License Master Social Worker (LMSW) and holds a Certificate of Marriage and Family Therapy and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management. Currently, she is pursing a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy and Administration at Walden University.

Veronda Ford has served on various nonprofit boards, worked in settings serving over thousands of people to include at risk youth, incarcerated, and elderly. She provides programs, camps, workshops and training to help educate and promote awareness for community health and equity. —
