What is your favorite Christmas ornament and why?

ASHLEE My niece at the time was 3 years old and gave me a glass pug ornament that reminded her of Romeo, my beloved 13 year old dog who had passed away a few months before. At only 3 years old she told me not to miss him because Jesus was taking care of him now. I keep the ornament out year round to remind me to have faith like a 3 year old does.

SARA When decorating our Christmas tree each year I always enjoy going through all the unique ornaments we have. Each one has a story. Most I would never want to part ways with for sentimental reasons. But If I had to pick one to be my favorite I think I would choose my wedding cake ornament. One year I emailed a picture to a shop that makes a replica of your wedding cake into an ornament out of clay. It looks identical. It always brings back such wonderful memories of our wedding Day. Having all our family and friends there celebrating us is a sweet memory I’ll cherish forever.

CASEY I have a few favorites. They represent the big life changes that my wife Brittini and I have achieved together. My favorite ornaments are the ones we picked out when we bought our first house, when we got married, and when we had our twin boys earlier this year.

ALLYCE My favorite Christmas ornament is Mr. Bingle. Every year, since my daughter was born, I purchase a new Mr. Bingle ornament to hang on our tree. He has always been a part of my Christmas growing up and I want to continue that tradition with my own family. I think he’s just a wonderful representation of Christmas in Louisiana.

KAITLIN My favorite ornament is a crib with a baby girl in it that we got last year! We spent the day picking out an ornament, taking pictures with Santa, and then riding around looking at Christmas lights! The ornament hasn’t been on our tree for years- but I’m so excited to continue this tradition with my family! I can’t wait to look back and remember this is the one that started it all!
