It is my pleasure to welcome you to this year’s Multicultural Business & Career Expo — my last as your state senator. I’m retiring from public service at the end of the year and want to take this opportunity to say thank you and farewell.
Assisting you, my constituents, has always been my first priority and I’ll miss making a positive difference in your lives. I applaud you for choosing to run a small business in California. It takes determination and hard work but, as the backbone of our local economy, you make a huge difference in your communities.
I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to network with other small businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. And I’d like to commend Sergey Ivannikov and his team for another excellent event.
I wish you much success in your business!

I want to congratulate Russian American Media on your continued success in serving the Russian-Speaking community of Northern California and becoming the center for multicultural community events which helps bring our entire community together. Through the Multicultural Business & Career Expo, RAM has worked with neighboring businesses to promote our economy, reduce unemployment, and give an opportunity for many in our local community. Once again, congratulations on your continued success.

Through my work with RAM I have seen their focus to not only spur economic growth throughout our communities, but their dedication to provide diversity in our workforce.
The Multicultural Business and Career Expo is helping to connect employers and potential employees to promote job growth and reduce our unemployment rates. Through the work of RAM they are truly making a difference in the lives of so many individuals and our community.

“The Expo 2022 is top-notch”
My greetings from California’s NFIB business group! NFIB in California serves more than 14,000 small businesses.
Our members have received benefit from the Multicultural Business & Career Expo. This year, event organizer Sergey Ivannikov and team have done a fantastic job. Sergey’s Expo team has collaborated with business and agency leaders; we are assured a forward-looking Expo program. The Expo 2022 is top-notch.
We know small businesses are struggling - coming out of the pandemic. Certainly, families are receiving refugees fleeing from war in Ukraine. With such humanitarian challenges, where there is an opportunity, we can embrace, refer, or often engage. So, finding encouragement at this Expo 2022, and with God’s will for our success, we can discover renewed energy, hope, and solutions to meet unprecedented challenges, both commercial and humanitarian.
The year 2022 can be transformative. Right now, this Multicultural Business & Career Expo is an opportunity to make these things happen. See you at Expo 2022
