What is the Green Card Lottery?

The Green Card Lottery, also known as the Diversity Visa Program, is a US government program that allows people from various countries to win a chance to move and legalize in the US. The winners are randomly selected from a pool of applicants on an annual basis. The US government allocates 55,000 visas each year to the Diversity Visa Program. Once selected, the winners can come to the US to receive permanent residency. Five years later they can apply for the US citizenship!

How much does it cost to register for the program?

Registration for the program is absolutely free. But many companies charge for helping people to correctly enter the data into the applications. Typically, this fee ranges from $10 to $50. Every year I publish a post on my Instagram-account about how to fill out a form properly without any assistance. Thousands of people use my advice and dozens of my followers win a green card every year.

Do you personally know of any successful Green CardLottery applicants?

Of course! In my 17 years of practice I have helped thousands of people complete applications online on their own. Many of them received green cards. Even my close friend, Oleg Stopnyak, who now lives in New York, won the Green Card Lottery last year.

Which countries of the former USSR can participate in the Green Card Lottery?

Every year a list of countries that are eligible to participate in the Green Card Lottery is published on the website of the Department of Immigration. In cases when a husband and a wife have different nationalities and one of the countries is excluded from the list, they can still apply. If one of the spouses wins the lottery, then the other spouse will also automatically qualify for a green card.
