GRAND PRIX IN RUSSIAN
Unique photographic album, World Press Photo Laureates from Russia and the Soviet Union: The complete overview, published with support from Gazprom Export. The album includes all the works on display, as well as photos marked by the WPP jury with diplomas and special prizes – a total of 450 pictures accompanied by unique authorial comments and information about them and about the competition. The album presents a complete overview of the participation of photojournalists from the Soviet Union and Russia in the World Press Photo competition and its juries. The album will present many images in their original author’s versions for the first time. In addition to its indisputable artistic worth, the album has obvious encyclopedic value, as it will include all Russian and Soviet winners of World Press Photo for the first time in a single publication.
