The album of the Russian newspaper photographer represents an author's collection of the classical black-and-white photo. All pictures were took by the camera “Leica”. Alexander Kurbatov - one of the most interesting Russian photographers, the expert on the genre photo, was familiar with Henri Cartier Bresson, accompanied the maestro during his stay in Moscow. He was on friendly terms with Metropolitan Pitirim, and that is remarkable, the photo and the general attachment to the camera Leica were the basis of their friendship.
