Get involved in your Town Centre Partnership Mission To make Stafford Town Centre a place where people want to visit, shop, live and work and enjoy a real unique Town Centre experience
What is the Town Centre Partnership? The Partnership brings together all Stafford town centre shops, restaurants, bars, businesses and organisations - from independent, local retailers to major national companies. Stafford Borough Council, Staffordshire County Council and Staffordshire Police are all members too. The Partnership board is made up from representatives from local businesses, as well as officers from the public sector. Projects and initiatives are discussed and agreed by the board with the aim of making the town centre a better place to visit, shop and work; increasing marketing and promotion of the town and its businesses to attract more visitors and to put Stafford firmly on the map.
Aims of the Partnership To raise the awareness of Stafford Town Centre, its shops and businesses, at a local, regional and national level. To ensure Stafford Town Centre remains vibrant, prosperous, clean, safe and an attractive place in which to live, visit, work, play, do business and invest in. To promote Keep Trade Local and encourage businesses to use each others services To bring together retailers, businesses, and all private and public sector organisations involved in the town centre, to work together for the good of the town.
Why Become a Member? W e all have an interest in the well-being of the town, and need to have a joined up working approach to ensure the town centre remains vibrant, prosperous, safe, clean and attractive; in partnership with Stafford Borough Council, Staffordshire County Council and Staffordshire Police. I t is important for the partnership to have a balanced representation from private and public sector organisations, and that people from different backgrounds represent the broad variety of interests in the town centre. Y ou can get involved and make a difference. Know what’s going on in your town centre and find out about future developments that may impact on your business. Have a voice, suggest solutions to issues and help to influence what goes on. he partnership is able to liaise with many other T organisations on your behalf to bring about change in the short, medium and long terms.

High streets across the country are continuing to face pressure like never before from a number of trends. Stafford TCP is working to keep our town in its rightful position as the centre for our community, with all our stakeholders and communities as our key ambassadors, We do this from solid foundations and respect we have gained for our work over the last 6 years, building upon a number of highly successful events within the town and a fantastic level of support that we offer our members. The future, with the exciting developments in Stafford, the investment in our infrastructure, increased housing and the development of MOD Stafford is all very positive for 2016 and beyond.

Chris Lewis Lewis Partnership It is no surprise that our Town Centre Partnership attracts so many members as well as nominations for industry awards.
Enjoy Card Be a part of this popular discount card scheme which promotes your offers and business at no extra cost. Offers are advertised on the website, in local newspaper and magazine adverts and also emailed out in a monthly bulletin. The discount card is available free of charge to residents and visitors and there are currently around 30,000 cards in circulation. To become a member of the partnership you DO NOT need to participate in the enjoy card scheme.
Year after year it has supported the businesses in Stafford with innovation and hard work and does not stand still when it comes to promoting what the town has to offer. That work is also a great selling point for bringing new businesses in. I am proud that our Council works closely alongside them to help draw customers and visitors to the town centre and I am sure their work will continue to go from strength to strength as the huge retail developments come on board. Stafford Town Centre Partnership Terms and Conditions 1. Confidentiality Agreement: To encourage open and frank discussion, members are asked to be mindful of the trust that is shared within the Partnership, and to be aware that the opinions expressed by individuals may not be that of the majority or the group as a whole. No member may officially speak on behalf of the partnership or use the Partnership name or logo on correspondence, without approval of the board. The local press are welcome to attend relevant meetings as members and are asked to report activities and resolutions in an appropriate manner not being detrimental to the town or other members of the partnership, after approval from the board. Member details will be made available to other members, listed on the Stafford Town Centre website and on any publication managed by the partnership - unless a member requests that this information is kept private on their membership application form. 2. Terms of Reference/Constitution for Stafford Town Centre Partnership are available on request. 3. Town Centre Website If you wish to have your own page on the website, you must supply all information by email. 4. Stafford Enjoy Card Offers submitted to this scheme must be unique to the card. 5. M embership fees are non refundable 6. Any requests for exceptions to the terms and conditions will be considered by the board for a decision. 7.
