Programme

8 Jackson’s Entry 9am til late daily good food—great coffee—good cause a social enterprise run by volunteers in recovery

Join us for our very first Fes val Programme. Many performers have kindly provided their shows free of charge to help us stage an exci ng array of comedy, music, dance and theatre. We are a charity with a social enterprise café at the heart . We are low-budget, hard working fes val amateurs! If you like what we have done, please make a dona on. The Serenity Café will con nue to serve great food throughout the fes val—please join us, relax and enjoy.

As reviewed on Trip Advisor

“Strangely, but rather wonderfully, a feather led me down the quiet approach to the Serenity Cafe, a er I'd asked for direc ons. I was the first customer on this Sunday morning but there was no delay in bringing me a coffee and a bacon roll (probably the best Sunday breakfast one can have, anywhere) and, as I'd already bought a copy of The Sunday Times, all was pre'y much perfec on. Set up to encourage those who've been through tough mes, this is a place which has been lovingly and tastefully decorated and designed for both comfort and pleasing the eye. My Dad used to set great store by "atmospherics" (which I inherited) and this deligh+ul cafe resonates with Good Vibes. If you're seeking a sanctuary, during the coming Edinburgh Fes val, go seeking. The food is good, the staff very nice and you'll definitely feel refreshed on many levels. What more could we ask for? “
