The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute Since the inception of the arts education programs at Ruth Eckerd Hall in 1984 and continuing with the opening of the Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute in 2003, our programs have maintained a high level of excellence both on and off-site, serving the Tampa Bay area, the State of Florida and beyond. Our classes, performances, community arts programs and the Eckerd Theater Company (ETC) impacted 88,750 adults and children last year. Your support helps to provide the opportunity for over 8,900 elementary school students to attend live school-time theater performances at the Hall. It enables 53,000 students and families nationally to experience live performances by ETC with a curriculum-based message. And, it provides local children – who would not otherwise be able to attend – to attend classes at the Hoffman Institute at a reduced or waived fee to explore the arts, discover their hidden talents, experience selfesteem, self-discipline and a sense of accomplishment in reaching for their dreams.
Your support makes a direct impact!
