PARTITION ELEMENT IN FABRIC

THESE SECTIONS ATTEMPT TO RENDER THE ATMOSPHERE OF THE RESIDENCE AND SHOWCASE DESIGN DESICISIONS TAKEN TO GENERATE DIALOUGES BETWEEN THE FAMILY AND THEIR HOMES.SCALE OF THE FURNITURE AND FENESTRATIONS PLAY A CRUTIAL ROLE.THE FABRICS USED AS FURNISHINGS AS WELL AS PARTITIONING ELEMENTS AND IN OPENINGS TO CREATE MUTED LIGHT WITHIN VARIOUS SPACES OF VARIOUS DEGREES.

ABOUT: THE CIVIL DRAWINGS ATTEMPTED TO COVER THE LOGISTICS AND FEASIBILITY OF STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS DONE TO THE COLONIAL BUNGLOW AS WELL AS THE UNDERSTANDING OF FENESTRATIONS, WHICH AIDED DETAILING ON AN INTERIOR SCALE BY DOOR WINDOW SCHEDULES AND SUPPORTING SECTIONS. THE INTERIOR DRAWING AIMS TO RESOLVE THE LAYOUT ERGONOMICALLY AS WELL AS DEAL WITH THE FURNITURE DETAILS AND ARISING SPACE -CRUNCH IN THE OTHER WISE COMPARTMENTAL COLONIAL BUNGLOW. THIS ALTERNATED PREIOUSLY CONCEPTUALISED INTERIORS.

RAJEN, THE MASTER WEAVER’S STUDIO AND WORKSHOP WAS TO BE COMBINED WITH A RETAIL THAT SOLD AN ARRAY OF HIS HANDMADE PRODUCTS AS A PART OF THE BRIEF. THE SPACE PLANNING AIMED TO DISPLAY THE KEY ELEMENTS OF HIS WEAVING PROCESS AND WE HIS HAND WORK AS A VISUAL AMBIENCE, UTILISING THE AREA CONSTRAINTS PLACED BY THE SITE.

APPROACH VIEW

THE CLIENT WAS A MASTER WEAVER IN HIS SIXTIES, SUFFERING FROM MEMO MEMORY LOSS. THERE WERE TWELVE LOOMS AND TEN WOMEN EMPLOYED BY HIM, WHO SHARED A FAMILY LIKE BOND. THE KEY TO THE RETAIL AND THE VALUE OF PRODUCTS SOLD WAS IN THE ACT OF WEAVING AND THE PROCESS ITSELF.THE UNIQUENESS OF THE CLIENT AND THE INFLUENCE OF A HERITAGE ITSELF WAS MAJOR INFLUENCE IN DESICIONS .

MODEL VIEWS OF PROJECT

MAKING A CHILDREN’S CENTER INVOLVED AN IN DEPTH RESEARCH OF CHILDREN AND THEIR CURRICULUM.THIS DIRECTLY AIDED THE PROCESS AND GENERATING DESIGN.THE MAIN GOAL HERE WAS MAKING FLOATING SPACES WHICH ARE MEMORABLE TO THE CHILDREN, THAT ALLOW THEM AN ENHANCED RELATIONSHIP WITH NATURE AND VOLUMES .

THE BRIEF WAS TO CREATE SPACE FOR A COMMUNITY CENTER THAT WAS INSPIRED BY A 10FT X 10FT CUBE.THE IDEA OF A WALL WAS REDEFINED BY MAKING THEM TRANSFORMABLE: MAIKNG VOIDS OR SPACE ACCORDING TO NEED.ALSO THE CONCEPT OF A SOUP KITCHEN WAS TAKEN UP WHERE WALLS WERE USED AS WEATHERSHEDS + TABLES AND EMPLOYED THE BASIC LOUVER MECANISM.

FURNITURE DRAWINGS AND DIMENSIONS OF THE BAR STOOL. INNER DIMENSIONS OF THE SEAT AND THE LEGREST ARE 350 AND 400 RESP.

ABOUT: THE PROJECT WAS TO USE AN IMAGE AS A REFERENCE AND FIGURE OUT ERGONOMICS AND MATERIAL, AND THUS CREATE A BARSTOOL.

THIS EXCERSIZE WAS DONE IN A GROUP OF 3

SE AND LEGREST HAD BEEN CNC CUT , THE SEAT INCLUDING THE MORTISE ON THE SEAT. AFTER,SEAT HAD BEEN ASSEMBLED USING BISCUIT JOINERY AND FIXED TO THE LEGS.THE NEEM LEGS HAD BEEN MADE IN THE WOODEN WORKSHOP.

ABOUT PROJECT:

THE PROJECT WAS TO DESIGN A STOOL THAT CAN ADJUST TO THE NEEDS OF A TRAFFIC POLICEMEN

1. 1.ELEVATION OF THE STOOL. 2.MATERIAL IN THE BACK REST IS WOVEN CANVAS SUPPORTED BY ACABLE GRID 3.THE UMBRELLA PROTECTS THE MAN FROM HEAT. 4.THE SIT STAND STOOL WILL GIVE A LOWER LUMBAR UPPORT. 5.STOOL IN PLAN 6.THE STRUCTURE 5.UMBRELLA FOR ADVERTISING AND AS A BEACON.

ABOUT : THE CONTEXT WAS IN KARGIL, WHICH IS THE LAST LAND NEAR INDIA - PAKISTAN L.O.C , AS A TRIBUTE TO THE HUNDERMAN VILLAGE- A SELF SUSTAINING COMMUNITY AND CULTURE OF PEOPLE. THE EXHIBIT SITE WAS AND ABANDONED VILLAGE OF THIS COMMUNITY SET IN THE BACKGROUND OF THEIR TERRACE FARMS. THE EXHIBITON WAS CURATED BY A TEAM OF 20.IT PROUDLY DISPLAYED THE ABANDONED POSESSIONS AND MEMORIES : RECORDED IN SOUND AND GRAPHICS.
