I am Rutuja Sawant a recent Architecture graduate ,with aspirations to expand my knowledge and experience in the field of event design, visual merchandising and set designing.
During the lockdown, I took a short online course taught by Ar.Sarang Patwarddan , this 10 day workshop dived deeper into the world of Art Direction & Production Design. This workshop was very insightful for me because I centre on conceptualisation and design process.

This project is the result of a six-month internship under Ar.Tripti Berariya.
In this overall project, I was responsible for creating layouts, working drawings, ppts, 3D views, client presentations, and site visits. I was involved in this project from start to finish, composing everything from the layout to the site decoration of the entire project.

The rich and magnificent chandelier, as well as the one-of-a-kind wall mirror art, give the design a classic feel.
The large windows allow natural light to flood the dining room. The monotone dining chairs and draperies highlight textures such as marble table top and glossy floor tiles. The marble table top is adorned with various flowers and dinnerware pieces, giving it an affluent appearance.

This living space is defined by several furniture groups, which include a custom couch, coffee table, pouffe, and a bright lounge chair.
A range of materials, including light wood, metallics, mirror, and linen, are used in combination with a consistent colour palette.

Tones of rust orange and beige brown work beautifully in this area, while a black artefact on the centre table stands out and provides layers of charm.

The traditional combination of veener and cane is given a fresh take in this grandparent's room.
The bedroom features a handwoven headboard that, along with the delicate floral drapes, provides tactile depth to the décor, while one side dominated by a handcrafted cane wardrobe in a blue theme.
Majority of the decorative items and furnishings, such as the rocking armchair, evoke the sense of a grandparents' room, radiating a homely feel.
The wavy pendant lights enliven up the space, and the floral pillows offer a pop of color, while minor elements such as the green throw and plants round out the appearance.

The furnishings in this room are modern and stylish, with a velvety touch. The rust-colored royal velvet lounge chair with black tinted glass closets is a spatial representation of how people aspire to live in luxurious spaces.
The attention is drawn to the gorgeous bed emerald green headboard with several layered cushions in this large room. The sunlight reflects off the soft ivory textured wall, altering the mood of the area.
The arrangment is made distinctive with careful combination of show items while the color pallete stands out in the entire room.

Each piece of furniture and design element was created just for this space. Planter adds a splash of colour and a joyful mood in this room.
The rich black book shelf is PU-coated, and shelves of re-bound antique books emerge in various zones throughout, with other accentuated décor elements adding a gorgeous look.
The brightly coloured sofa set has a vintage print and rust effect, as well as the crystal chandelier adds a glamorous element to the room. Along with the rosewood coloured chair, the deep black study table has an unique molding detailing that makes it a classic antique furniture item.

Extravagances like a handmade gold-finished bookcase with elegantly organised books and well collected artwork and sculptures. Rich wine-coloured lounge chairs and a coffee table with subdued lighting complete the look.
