ABOUT THE FIRM Tarang Pandhi Associates The firm, Tarang Pandhi – Architect and Interior Designer, was established in Ahmedabad since the year 2002. The firm is located in the eastern part of Ahmedabad amidst the famous architectural urban centers – pol houses. This underrated firm has completed over 1300 sites all over Ahmedabad and Jamnagar in both the architectural and interior designing sector. The location of the firm is near Kankaria Lake which makes it approachable by all the various nearby vicinities. The firm has projects dealing in both the commercial and residential areas. It has also designed many sample houses for the eminent developers of Ahmedabad. A small firm that started as freelancing inside a small telephone booth now employs a team of 12 people including architects, interior designers, civil engineers, and interns.

ABOUT THE ARCHITECT Ar. Tarang Pandhi The principal architect, Ar. Tarang Pandhi, is a graduate from APIED, Vallabh Vidyanagar. Believing in sketching as a core component in Architecture, he uses this form in making both the clients and the artisans understand his concepts. A skilled software learner who manages to work on two computers at the same time, gives importance to the latest programs in terms of expressing his designs. His ideology is to give the same responsibility of work from the interns to the senior architects, dealing with the clients directly being one of them.

RESIDENCE OF TARANG PANDHI Architectural and Interior Location: Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad A 4-BHK residence of an architect with a workplace (studio) in basement. The responsibilities which came along this project included designing the elevations, helping with 3-D models, construction drawings, site visits, etc. There was a lot of understanding on the civil work of the project throughout it’s execution stage.

The responsibilities which came along this project included finalizing the concept with the clients and designing the elevations and construction drawings until the client finalized everything. RESIDENCE OF DAYAL BHAI Interior Designing Location: Thaltej, Ahmedabad A 4-BHK residence with both modern and retro look which matches the taste of younger as well as older generation. One room was converted into home theater with stretch ceiling giving a whole new look. Italian marble was used all over the living room and the bedrooms had wooden flooring. My experience was to deal with the clients directly and handle the whole site from an early stage.

RESIDENCE OF KANTI BHAI Interior Designing Location: Naranpura, Ahmedabad A 3-BHK residence with servant room included was a renovation project in an old society. The concept was to make it simple yet modern. One room was converted into a home theater with a multi-purpose use as a guest room too. The use of minimal materials and creating a color-contrast for the bedrooms makes the residence very intriguing.
