Wayne Beauchamp is on double bass and vocals and has played for many well-known rock 'n' roll style bands in the area over the years including "The Streamlines" (with Ron back in the 1980s), "Dawg House", "The Ugly Dog Skiffle Combo" and "V8 Rumble" Racking up 8 commercially released albums worldwide and dozens of compilation album appearances, TV/radio appearances and thousands of live appearances locally and nationally Wayne has also produced hundreds of record covers for underground record labels and is well known locally for all of his hard work with the North Walsham archive group

January 2023 saw the band camped down in Somerset at the Western Star studio recording their debut album of re-imagined eighties hits titled "This ain't rockabilly, this is Those Deadbeat Cats" The band are thrilled to have been signed to Western Star which, in recent years, has become the UK's biggest label on the rockabilly scene with artists coming from all over the world to record for them Label owner, and 80s psychobilly icon, Alan Wilson, said "These guys are great musicians and super-tight as a band" Alan told the band that he knew he wanted "Those Deadbeat Cats" on his label within the first half hour of hearing them play The band recorded many of the favourites from their live set which includes hit songs from Madonna, Human League, Soft Cell, etc but completely re-worked in a rockabilly like style with touches of many other music styles along the way and a few surprises Very much tongue-in-cheek and having loads of fun along the way
