ABOUT ME
M
y name is Ryan and I am a full time Bachelor of Digital Media student majoring in graphic design. I am currently in my second year of the degree and I am enjoying all the challenges that arise and help me to progress in my design practices. I enjoy graphic design as it allows me to be creative within the setting of a workplace even if it is a simulated workplace in the case of university. I feel I would crave the diversity that
a job as a graphic designer has to offer rather than mind numbingly repetitive tasks such as those on offer at my current job at KFC. This course has helped me to hone my creative process in various ways; from brainstorming name ideas, sub-conscious writing, gathering resources as well as overall presentation and time management. I believe this aquired knowledge is evident within my portfolio, but I guess that’s up to you to decide.

BRIEF B: For the second brief we were tasked to produce a creative and innovative solution to a packaging design problem that we had identified. The packaging problem that I selected was chip packaging and the excessive air used to buffer damage and rough handling during transportation as i felt there was a large demand for a solution to this issue. My solution to this problem was “Fuller Chips a product with a packet that has a minimal air pocket and utlizes the full net volume of the packaging.
