What a great year it has been! Our 50th year of fulfilling the dream of home ownership started out with exciting new releases all across the GTA. As the year progressed, so did our energy and commitment to quality and customer service. Read on to discover all the great highlights of 2022!
In January, we started to plan out our year. It’s always an exciting time - looking ahead to a new year of designing and building our signature communities. It was also a good time for many of our homeowners, who had purchased their new home in 2021, to schedule their design appointment and select their finishes that would personalize their new home.
Homeowners across the GTA rejoiced with our releases of beautiful Townhomes and Detached homes at four outstanding locations - Whitby Meadows in Whitby, New Kleinburg in Kleinburg as well as High Point & Valley Oak located in the bustling city of Brampton. All the new communities were received with great enthusiasm by eager, aspiring home buyers in every market segment – from couples, to growing families as well as empty nesters.
2022 was an exciting year for us as we celebrated our golden jubilee in the new home building industry. In March, we shot our corporate video in our Head Office. The video shoot was an exciting affair for all of us at Paradise Developments! It was a moment of pride in our accomplishments. We shot in several locations within our office – the reception area, boardrooms, conference rooms, and more. The shooting, the editing, the graphics –everything came together perfectly in the end.
2022 saw the launch of two fabulous new communities. Parkside Heights in Brampton – a gorgeous enclave of Luxury Detached Homes and Townhomes, steps from Heartlake Conservation Park and moments from trails, highways, schools, shops, and more. A perfect location at Mayfield Road and Kennedy Road where the great outdoors meet vibrant family amenities.

We saw a high number of registrants for both communities which resulted in sold out releases.
With the support of Paradise Developments’ Baruch and Weisz families, NYGH has transformed their Cancer Care Centre into the vibrant, new Baruch/Weisz Cancer Centre. The new facility includes the Anne Tanenbaum Chemotherapy Clinic, Oncology Consultation and Assessment, Hematology, Pain and Symptom Program, and the hospitals’ Cancer Care Pharmacy.
The new facility includes more multipurpose space for added treatment and assessment. The clinical area is navigable, patient-centred, and offers increased accommodation for both current and future patient volumes, all while enhancing patient safety.
In addition to residential, Paradise also leads the way in fine commercial developments. In 2022, we announced the exciting opening of our brand new commercial plaza in Brampton. With a prime retail location along Mayfield Road, the plaza offers excellent exposure on one of Brampton’s major thoroughfares, and adds to the commercial offerings in the growing residential community of Mount Pleasant. With units ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 sq.ft., the plaza welcomed a wide range of new tenants and added to the vibrancy of the neighbourhood.
The Paradise Developments team sponsored and participated in a 2-day build with their principals and their staff to help build homes for deserving families. At Paradise, we strongly believe in strengthening our communities through charitable activities and worthy causes. Our staff generously give their time and effort to a variety of charities, and Habitat for Humanity is one of them. It’s a source of pride and joy for us to see the happiness on the faces of families for whom we build the homes.
2022 was a year of growth and success as we expanded our operations and welcomed several new members to our team. These additions were across the board, from our award-winning customer care department, to our Design centre, to our site construction team. Our high commitment to quality and outstanding service is instilled in all our team members, old and new, as we keep raising the bar on excellence for our homebuyers. We are proud to welcome our newest team members and look forward to serving our customers with the highest standards of quality and integrity.
