German dictator and leader of the Nazi Party, Hitler took his life when he realized that World War Two was over. On April 29, 1945, while hiding in his bunker in Berlin, Hitler married his girlfriend, Eva Braun. At 15:30 on April 30, Hitler and Eva ended their lives.

MICHAEL

JACKSON 1958–2009

Acclaimed American entertainer, singer, and songwriter Michael Jackson began a successful career as a member of family pop group The Jackson 5. Jackson shared a last meal with his children on June 24 before rehearsing for his forthcoming tour. Jackson returned home, but died on June 25, 2009, at his Neverland Mansion in Santa Barbara, California.
