O ur co ncept wa s b a sed o n pre ser ving the historic details of the city, while bringing in innovation and ammenities that the company has to offer. Our color scheme was inspired by the cit y sk y at sunset.

Th e fin a l ized fl o o r pl an was a re sult of bubble diagrams, adjacency matrices, and several floor plan iterations produced by each of the four team members and then combined to create the optimal layout.

This physical model was produced by laser cutting items like a staircase, rai li ngs, bui lt-i n shelvi ng, cabinetr y, and window frames, as well as creati ng mod el f ur ni ture f rom i tems li ke q -ti ps and wood.

The construc ti on do c u m e nt s fo r this project were completed in AutoC AD, and all lase r c u t t in g was drawn and completed through AutoC AD as well. All p ie ce s we re created at a 1/2”=1 ’ 0 ” sc ale.

PL ACE ID ENTIT Y achi eved through h isto r ic e le ments such as brick, classic color palette, and keeping the original beams, cei li ng, an d win d ows.

PL ACE DEPENDENCE achieved through carefully specified fur niture pieces, func tional spaces li ke of fice s an d t h e kitchen, and creating spaces that ad apt to user nee d s.

NATU R E B ONDI NG achieved through indoor plants and trees, natural co lo r s, b io philic tex tures, views to the outdoors, and natural materials such as wood.

SOCIA L B ONDI NG achieved through space planning with a centrally located k itchen, furniture which encourages collaboration, and residential furniture and nooks.

0 3 / C R U I S E CONCEPT While I wor ked on several different cruise ships dur ing my time at Wilson Butler, I spent the majority of my time on one cruise ship in its earliest phases of design. I was involved in pitching the stor y which influenced the flow and design of the upper decks of the ship. I also create construction documents in CAD based on hand drawings from my boss. I worked on the physical model, proposed materials for the crew enter tainment spaces, and work ing with the team on phase I.
