My Vision What is architecture and city that realize the coexistence of people and nature? The hints are hidden in the elements of nature-light, rain, clouds, forests and horizons. I think learning architecture is to pursue questions. Create a world where beautiful greens and people can coexist forever. I want to be an architect with a Japanese "Nature-loving heart" because it is global now.

Japanese issues Four years ago, I experienced water damage due to torrential rain and became interested in coexistence with nature. As a result, the use of vacant land due to the decline in Japan's population and the conservation measures for buildings have become more conscious of problems when they are delayed in development compared to Western countries. In order to solve the problem, I think it is necessary to form a society where people and nature can coexist.

Ubiquitous Architecture I thought that “architecture and attachment” and “buildings should be familiar with the landscape” are necessary for Japanese architecture. Name it and think that ubiquitous architecture (UA) should be spread in Japan. As an example, there is a technique using aging beautification with wood. The depth of color increases with age due to sunlight and rain, and natural familiar buildings such as trees and vegetation become part of the landscape. Copper changes into reddish brown, brown, dark brown, dark brown, greenish blue (green) due to acid rain.

What is missing from UA However, care must be taken for a long time to spread “UA”. In Finland, where the living culture has developed, it is said that they will care for themselves. This is because housing is considered an asset that can be handed over to the next generation. There are many houses that have been inhabited even after 100 years of construction. In order for Japan, which is supposed to be rebuilt in 20-30 years, to live longer, it is necessary to learn Scandinavian living culture.

Internship Under such circumstances, I found casagrandelaboratory architects in Finland. Seeing them, I was fascinated by the technique of harmonizing their materials and landscape. And I attended Alvar Aalto 120th Anniversary International Symposium in Tokyo. Then I attended lecture Re think Alvar Aalto in Tokyo University. Finnish architecture will lead to the revival of Japan's losing “culture that respects nature and unites nature and architecture, including forests. I felt that I could develop Japanese architecture by working as an internship at this office and learning about its methods and their ideas. In addition, we can visit histories of historic wooden buildings in Helsinki and other Finnish towns, and we can get a hint of UA's sustainability by touching the preservation methods, living behavior, and sensibility of residents that match the climate. Architect's method and thought, historical living culture, and national character who loves nature are the reasons why I go to study abroad.

Internship at SANAA Contents: 1: Study model 2: Making a proposal model 3: Making perspective for meetings The image of working in the future was given to what kind of office style he liked. In addition, there was work abroad, and I felt fascinated to work with foreign people.

Workshop in Inujima (SANAA) Contents: 1:Make Tataki(WITH STAFF) 2:Attend lecture(KAZUYO SEJIMA) This project was working while consistently pursuing "What is a building that fits the island culture?" I felt like building a building that would be part of the land appropriate for the land.
