How was 2020 for the industry and your company?
COVID had a heavy impact on the industry, all of us had to shift our approaches, tune our strategies and change the way we operate. The first half carried the major impact where we struggled to understand the new changes, rules and regulations related to lockdowns, while in the second half we managed to coexist and start to adapt with the new norm with new business models. Regardless of all the challenges, uncertainty and risks, 2020 still brought a bigger opportunity as the industry was accelerating and embracing digital transformation and rethinking their cloud and security strategies. Infoblox played a critical role in this transformation and as overall it was another record year to Infoblox.

We also will see new trends and new verticals coming to the front during the transition like Education, Retail, Healthcare and others changing their priorities to leverage technology to drive digital transformation to their business.
According to you, which technologies will be in demand in 2021?
Any innovative technology that is aligned with the trends and the customer journey to digital will have a role to play in 2021, technologies related to security and cloud that supports and enables SDWAN, SASE, SaaS and others. BloxONE platform is one of the born in the cloud innovations Infoblox brought to the industry to enable organizations to pivot and embrace their digital journey.

Hiring and onboarding is a critical milestone to continue to serve our customers and partners and be always available across the region, the other milestones related to us being able to travel again and be closer to our customers and partners.
What would you like to do differently in 2021, when compared with 2020?
The uncertainty 2020 brought to us made us take conservative decisions, however 2021 will be the year we break our fears and take more aggressive decisions that can help us accelerate our business objectives. The customer business is changing and evolving and we should all align around their business priorities and the new initiatives they will be embracing.
