the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a floating vortex of refuse, in the world’s largest ocean.
ignorance is bliss.
it ranges between twice the size of Texas, to as large as the continental United States. as of 2015, there is an estimated 35,000 tons of plastic in the global oceans.

LOST
There are obvious obstacles to life. A person aspires to be something great, but doesn’t want to be committed to it even though she may have to be in order to achieve greatness. Most of us go through these phases more than once in our lifetime. “Lost”, through its imagery, describes how the path of life can appear to be beautifully set in place while, at the same time, the future is a thing that can never be seen clearly.
shannon brushett
My name is Shannon Brushett. I was born in Oregon, but grew up on the South Shore of Long Island and have lived there for most of my life. Lost is a word that has described me for a long time now. I may not be physically lost, but lost in the sense that I, like many people, have not decided what I want to do in the future, nor have I thought about being fully committed to it.
