Asia NOW Paris 2022

Artemis Art will be one of the participating galleries in the 2022 edition of Asia NOW - Paris Asian Art Fair. This marks our debut participation in the fair, this year celebrating its eighth edition.

Featured in our presentation will be recent works by three visual artists from Southeast Asia: Dedy Sufriadi (Indonesia), Syahbandi Samat (Malaysia), and Taufik Ermas (Indonesia).

Best known for his works using text as the primary subject matter, Dedy Sufriadi makes his European art fair debut in this art fair. 2022 has been an important year for the artist, and his appearance in Asia NOW Paris 2022 makes it the second time his works have been exhibited in Europe.

Syahbandi Samat's ballpoint pen on canvas works will be shown outside Asia for the first time with his participation in Asia NOW Paris. Included are works that highlight the young artist's amazing drawing and rendering skills with the ballpoint pen.

Best known for his canvas augmentation techniques, this art fair marks the second time we are showing Taufik Ermas in Europe, the first time being at Volta Basel earlier this year.
