Ronald McDonald House

Attending Ronald McDonald House for the month of May was one of the most fun out of all the ones I went to. For this event, we cooked dinner for the families and we finished quite early, so after we finished cooking everything, we were able to just sit there and relax, beside us was another group of people who baked some treats and they offered us some, which was like a rewarding treat after we finished cooking. It was really heartwarming seeing everyone come in and thank us for the food that we prepared for them. But, the one thing that stuck out to me during this event was when two kids came in and they were in awe with all the food presented upon them. They screamed “look at all this food” to each other and then hearing their soft voices coming to thank us, that was such a great feeling seeing how happy they were!
