Request To Exit The request-to-exit buttons are used in secure door egress and door access control. The buttons are activated by placing your hand or finger on the button on the faceplate. The faceplates come in three sizes, including ANSI, British, and narrow. The buttons come with more different symbols.

Application The switch bar is easy to install and specifically designed to prevent unauthorized access of exit doors and risk of theft and burglary in airports, hotels, and other large-scale doors found in public places. It can also be used in hospitals, nursing homes or rehabilitation centers to prevent unauthorized exit.

The built-in time delay (relocking time) module provides high security for exit door control.

Alarming

After the exit bar is pushed, the switch will activate the buzzer.

After delay time

When the time delay is up, the exit door will be unlocked for egression.

(Reset)

The security guard can reset the switch bar back to normal status with a key.

Call Point The Call Point can be activated without power supply in emergencies. It is typically located on fire escape doors. The main function is to override the electrical locking devices in case of emergency. Using the provided key to reset the unit to normal mode and to replace the glass.

Electromagnetic Door Holder Electromagnetic Door Holders are a fail-safe device. They release the fire door when the fire fighting system detects a fire and cuts off the power supply. The closed door may thus prevent the smoke from spreading and moving out of the confined space. The door can also be closed manually by pressing on the release button of the door holders.

Key Switch Key Switches are installed in secure locations outside, in parallel or series connection with the power supply and the electromagnetic lock. If the electromagnetic lock cannot be opened due to failure of proximity reader or other incidents, the user can use a key to switch between normally closed (N.C.) and normally open (N.O.) contacts, forcing the door to open. Key Switches act as a backup to access control systems.
