BRAND GUIDELINES
THE GREENSHIELD LOGO The Greenshield Logo is the key brand identifier. It is important to use it in a clear and consistent way across all communications.
PRIMARY LOGO
CLEARANCE AREA
Clearance Area To protect the clarity of the logo an exclusion zone (height of the GREENSHIELD text from the logo) has been established. This area should always be kept free from other visual elements or typography. Minimum Size To retain legibility and effectiveness, the logo should not be used smaller than 75px.

LOGO FOR USE ON A WHITE/LIGHT BACKGROUND Primary Logo
Monotone
The primary logo on a white or light background should be used whenever possible. However, alternatives are available to accommodate darker backgrounds and printing requirements.

GENERAL RULES Please don’t alter the appearance of the logo. It should not be: Stretched
Separated
Following some simples rules with regards to the logo will help to build and retain the integrity of the brand.
Please do not alter the logo for any purpose by either stretching, separating, or recolouring it. When using the logo on an image, make sure it is in a suitable position to be read and be seen clearly.

LOGO ON AN IMAGE Please don’t use the logo on a busy image where it cannot be read or seen clearly.

LETTERHEAD & ENVELOPE
A4 LETTERHEAD The primary logo should be applied at the top and in the center of the letterhead. The Greenshield address should be printed and centered on the bottom in black.
The Greenshield branded letterhead and envelope are used for external communications. Please use the standardized sizes, placement, and colors to maintain the brand identity.
Letterhead The standard size for the letterhead is A4 paper Envelope The standard envelope size is #10 (9 1/2� x 4 1/8�) with a square flap.
#10 Envelope The primary logo should be applied at the top and in the center of the envelope. The Greenshield address should be printed and centered on the back square flap of the envelope in black.

TINT 10% increments of the primary colour can be used in diagrams and tables.
Pantone values and CMYK/RGB values have been specified opposite.
USES The colour used here is Pantone 555C. When it is not possible to print with this specific colour, the CMYK breakdown should be used. The RGB breakdown should be used when specifying for online use.

THE GREENSHIELD TYPEFACE The Greenshield typeface is Century Gothic and Book Antiqua. Derived from the logo, the two fonts gives the brand its distinctive look across all materials.
Greenshield Typeface Family The fonts listed opposite should be use for communications both digital and print communications. If a font is not available, please use Arial or Times New Roman.

TYPOGRAPHIC STYLE The typography style used by Greenshield is another important brand characteristic. A consistent look across all communications helps achieve the unique brand identity.
Serif vs. Sans-Serif The serif typeface, Book Antiqua, should be used in the body of documents, letters, and formal communications. The sans-serif typeface, Helvetica or Helvetica Light, should be used for presentations and marketing communications. Helvetica Family Based on the communication (ads, presentations, etc) select a font from the Helvetica family that suits it best.

Serif body copy should be set in Book Antiqua. Main headlines or introductory copy should be set at a larger size than body copy. Alternatively, Sans-Serif body copy should be set in Helvetica Light. Or any font in the Helvetica family.
