Archive360, the leading provider of email archive migration software, today announced that it was selected by Programmed, a leading staffing, maintenance and facility management company based in Australia, to enable a seamless migration of archived data from Symantec Enterprise Vault to Dell Archive Manager. Using Archive360’s Archive2Anywhere, Programmed was able to compliantly extract data from its aging Enterprise Vault V9 archive with zero application impact. Programmed employs more than 20,000 people across a broad range of industries to provide services for more than 10,000 customers, often under long-term contracts. The company operates through a network of more than 100 branches, delivering multiple services from across its business. To support its growth, Programmed recently merged with another company that was running Enterprise Vault V9 with 25TB of archived data. The inherited system was on an old 2003 x86 server that had been left untended for a number of years. As a result it was not in a suitable state, and native tools could not be used to export the data.

used Archive360’s Archive2Anywhere solution with great success in the past, Redman Solutions knew it would solve the problem. Using Archive360 V2’s PowerShell integration, Programmed, was able to develop custom scripts which enabled it to automate the extraction of the Enterprise Vault archives to PST files which could easily and compliantly be integrated into the existing Dell Archive Manager email archive environment.
