Georgia Renaissance Festival: Fairburn, GA (May 1-June 13, 2021)
Get transported back to the 16th-century of Europe! The 32-acre village will be filled with over 150 artisan craft shoppes, 10 stages of entertainment, pubs and taverns, and food. Laugh out loud at the antics of all the costumed characters, try your skill at carnival games, and enjoy human-powered rides for kids of all ages. Water Lantern Festival: (May 8, 2021)
The Charlotte Water Lantern Festival will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 starting at 5:30pm at Symphony Park at South Park on 4400 Sharon Road in Charlotte. Krishnadham VYO Groundbreaking Ceremony: Apex, NC (May 9, 2021)
The Krishnasham VYO will celebrate the groundbreaking and building foundation ceremony for the first ever RTP Haveli with an international livecast to be held on Sunday, May 9, 2021 from 10am to 12pm followed by Six Sama-na Darshan from 4pm to 7pm at 795 Beaver Creek Road in Apex, NC. The 542nd birth anniversary of Shri Vallabhacharya will be celebrated on Sunday, May 9, 2021 (4-7pm) at the Hindu Center of Charlotte. The celebration will begin with reciting Path followed by Kirtan, Bhajans, Discourse and Arti. Shri Vallabhacharya (14791531 C.E.) was a devotional philosopher, who founded the Pushti sect in India. LEAF ReTreat: Asheville, NC (May 13-16, 2021)
The LEAF ReTreat gives the feeling of having the place to yourself, creating more small groups and connecting you with nature and the outdoors. Stages are open air, smaller, more intimate with meet and greets and a focus on local and regional artists several of whom are helping to design the weekend.
