Tryon International Film Festival: (October 8-10, 2021) The 7th annual Tryon International Film Festival is one of the few film festivals in the world that employs the entire town. HumSub presents “Vihaan – New Beginnings”, an in-person celebration of Cary Diwali 2021 on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Vihaan is Sanskrit for “Dawn” and symbolizes the beginning of a postpandemic world. Celebrate India’s rich culture and heritage. This year, Cary Diwali will be celebrated in a scaled-down version showcasing performances by talented artists from the community in the afternoon, followed by a primetime performance concert by local talent.
