Carolina Renaissance Festival: Huntersville, NC (October 1 – November 20, 2022)
History comes alive with non-stop, day long entertainment, arts and crafts, games and rides, jousting knights on horseback, and feasting. The Renaissance Festival is a 16th century European-style art, food and entertainment festival combining outdoor theater, crafts, circus entertainment, and marketplace. Tryon International Film Festival: (October 7 - October 9, 2022)
The annual Tryon International Film Festival is one of the few film festivals in the world that employs the entire town. Six screening venues operate seamlessly during the threeday event as retail shops, restaurants and bars come alive with activity as filmmakers and fans walk the streets, enjoy street entertainment and art. CORD 5K Run: Cary, NC (October 8, 2022)
Join the CORD 5K Run/Walk with family and friends around the beautiful Bond Park. Take a Stride for a good cause, helping over half a million under privileged people around the globe. Georgia State Fair: Atlanta, GA (Through October 9, 2022)

Every year, people of all ages descend upon Columbia to attend the South Carolina State Fair.
