Mint Fashion Day Celebration: Charlotte, NC (December 10, 2022)
Join for the opening celebration of Fashion Reimagined: Themes & Variations: 1760-NOW that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Mint’s fashion collection by the Mint Museum Auxiliary. There will be panel discussions and will feature those who conceived, developed, and created the exhibit Fashion Reimagined. Nigerian American filmmaker and artist Walé Oyéjidé presents the NC premiere of his documentary After Migration: Calabria while discussing his methods of using fashion design as a subversive tool to dismantle cultural bias. His designs have appeared in motion pictures like Black Panther. The event takes place at Mint Museum Uptown Charlotte from 10am – 6pm. Admission is free. For more info, visit Mintmuseum.org.
Carolinas Christmas Assembly presents its annual Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 6 – 8:30pm at Butler High School Auditorium, 1810 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd., Matthews, NC. Tosco Music Holiday Party: Charlotte, NC (December 19, 2022)
Come celebrate the season with an evening of music. Tosco Music Parties feature an eclectic mix of more than a dozen performers and plenty of audience singalongs. McAdenville is known as Christmas Town USA and has been lighting up the entire town for Christmas for decades. Walk or drive through the downtown area to view the frosty majesty of the winter landscape. Colorful lights will shine from 5:30 - 10:00 pm each night. There will be Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 1, 2022 at 5:30pm at Dynamo 31, 102 Main St. The countdown is always exciting before a child “flips the switch” and turns on the light display. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical: Charlotte, NC (Through December 22, 2022)
The Herdmans are back for the holiday favorite “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical.” This hilarious and heartfelt musical comedy, adapted from Barbara Robinson’s classic story, will have your family laughing and crying while celebrating the holidays. The Billy Graham Library in Charlotte presents the annual Christmas at the Library celebration. Activities include Live Nativity, petting zoo, horse-drawn carriage rides, story time, Christmas dinner, carolers and more. In addition to the Christmas-only activities, the Billy Graham Library’s ongoing attractions are available for extended hours during Christmas. It takes place through December 23, 2022. Carowinds Winterfest: Fort Mill, SC (Through January 1, 2023)

Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health features four million LED Christmas lights strewn across a
four-mile course, with displays and lights synchronized to Christmas-themed music. The show is open rain or shine and features synchronized lights to music. Also enjoy the festive Christmas village. Blowing Rock WinterFest: (January 26 – 29, 2023)
The annual Blowing Rock WinterFest takes place from January 26-29, 2023 in Boone, NC. The fest features silent auction and raffle, arts and crafts, holiday themed activities, cork and canvas, concerts and performers, a polar bear plunge in Chetola Lake, ice-carvings, chili cook-off, wine tastings, auctions, and more.
