On behalf of the Flying Tiger Historical Organization, we would like to invite you to partner with us and be a part of history as we memorialize the strong relationship that existed between China and the United States during WWII. The Flying Tigers Heritage Park in Guilin, China is the premier museum and memorial park dedicated to honoring the role of the Flying Tigers during WWII (the American AVG, 14th Air Force, and CBI). This world-class museum and park is nearing completion and will culminate with the re-enactment of a “Hump” flight beginning in Malaysia (Burma), over the Himalayan Mountains, and ending at Heritage Park in Guilin. We anticipate that this event will garner wide media attention both in America and China. In fact, we are in the final stages of negotiation with the American Hero’s Channel to produce a documentary on the flight that will be narrated by actor Joe Mantegna, Jr. We are asking you to help sponsor this historic endeavor. The re-enactment flight will honor the brave men and women from America who fought alongside the Chinese to defeat Japanese Imperialism. Additionally, the flight will transport a number of rare and historically significant artifacts for permanent display at the museum in Guilin. The Flying Tigers Heritage Park is in the final stages of construction and is slated to open on March 28, 2015. Included within this brochure a list of the sponsorship benefits available at different levels of support. This is a unique opportunity to document and record for history some of the most dangerous and significant flying that took place during WWII. Your contribution will ensure that this under reported segment of history will be memorialized for generations. The Chinese Consulate in San Francisco, CA is hosting the Flying Tiger Historical Organization on October 24, 2014. We would love to use this special evening as an opportunity to celebrate with you as we honor and help preserve the legacy of some of our nation’s finest patriots. Thank you in advance for your generous support! Warmest regards,

DESCRIPTION The Flying Tiger Historical Organization Inc. (FTHO) is a California non-profit volunteer organization registered with the IRS as a 501 (c) (3) corporation. We consist of two groups, an Executive and Advisory Board. MISSION STATEMENT In partnership with the Peoples Republic of China, promote friendship, understanding and an appreciation of the shared heritage of the United States and the Peoples Republic of China; to educate the people of today and future generations about the heroics of both countries during WWII. PRIMARY GOAL Develop the Flying Tiger Heritage Park located on the outskirts of Guilin, China. The main components of the Park will be a restored General Chennault’s Command and Operations Cave circa 1941, Museum, Honor Walk and Wall, Entrance and Information Center. MARKETING AND CUSTOMER The Guilin area and the River Li are one of the big tourist areas for the people of China and in recent times they have become a popular stop for a majority of the world tour groups. Although Kumming was a larger WWII operating area, the entire China Theater was under the command of General Chennault from his “Cave”. FINANCIAL DATA The Peoples Republic of China has dedicated $4 million US dollars and has purchased 120 acres for the Park. The FTHO commitment required is $400,000 US. The cave restoration cost will be $150,000 US. The cave will be completely financed by the FTHO. The remainder of our commitment will aid in the financing of other areas in the Park. At this time we have raised $57,000 US. Pictures of our Ground Breaking Ceremony can be viewed on our web page. (New web page due early November 2014) Museum completion and dedication will be March 28, 2015.
