Floor plans + What is it?
+ Generator of all other drawings and provides the most fundamental information + Views seen as though building were cut horizontally about 4 feet above the floor plane
+ What included? + Walls & Glazing (windows) + Millwork + Built-in Fixtures + Plumbing Fixtures + Stairs & and other changes in floor plane elevation + Furniture & Special Equipment + Room Name Labels + North Arrow + Elevation Markers + Material Finishes (rendered)

reflected ceiling plan What is it?
+ Shows a view of the ceiling as though it were reflected onto a mirror on the floor
+ Ensures ceiling has same orientation as floor plan
What’s included?
+ grids lines, changes in ceiling heights, light locations, any other element that is part of or touches the ceiling
+ shows partitions that extend to and through the ceiling
+ does NOT include door swings, windows, or other openings unless they extend to the ceiling

elevations What is it?
+ Shows a vertical surface from a point of view perpendicular to the surface without any perspective distortion
+ Line weights must clearly communicate spatial relationships –
+ Closet walls to viewer that are cut through are drawn using a bold line weight - receding elements become progressively lighter in line weight What’s included?
+ Must clearly depict interior architectural elements, equipment, fixtures, & design details – + Configuration of wall surface, openings in walls, built-in features, millwork, wall-mounted equipment, freestanding elements
+ Shows the heights of items that cannot be shown elsewhere

material & Furniture boards What is it?
+ Shows a selection of materials and finishes proposed for the design
+ Shows imagery of selected furniture, fixture & equipment items
+ Board is crafted in a way that depicts samples in a visually pleasing way
What’s included?
+ material/finish samples – flooring, ceiling materials, textiles, wall surfaces, solid surfacing + include color imagery when sample cannot be obtained
+ furniture, fixure, equipment items – furniture items, plumbing fixtures, technological items, etc.
