SOLIS UBUD Specialty Restaurant Concept
nikkei inspired design style Nikkei literally means a Japanese person born outside Japan, yet it has come to encapsulate not just the people, but the food that Japanese emigrants and their children cooked. They cook Peruvian food with the addition of their own little touches. Nikkei cuisine transforms local Peruvian dishes using Japanese avors and techniques. Derived from the same idea, we try to describe it into such a unique design that we called Nikkei design style. It is a combination of bold and raw materials inspired by peruvian characteristic with a touch of simplicity and compactness that comes from japanese style design.

SOLIS UBUD All Day Dining Concept
Rice culture, the legend of Dewi Sri, gratitude caremony, and rice harvest tradition inspired design style Based on Dewi Sri stories, we interpret Dewi Sri as the restaurant itself. It is the mother of the whole area of the hotel, provides food for everyone, anytime all day. Brings harmony and happiness through the land. To create the perfect ambiance, we adapt some of the tradition and elements related to paddy, rice and harvest ceremony into our design and services. As the story told, to call and invite the goddess presence, people have to sing certain songs and poem then they give some offering as the symbol of gratitude. We translate the idea of singing a song into furnitures and design element which is inspired by musical instruments. The symbol of gratitude is describe as one of the service that will be offered for the guests, such as washing their hands as small ritual before they enter the restaurant. Other elements that we put into the design is woven and batik. The woven was inspired by farmers in Bali who provide a special shrine dedicated to Dewi Sri which the efďŹ gy is carefully made from weaved coconut leaves. The idea of weaved coconut leaves is transform into the pattern of the partition, light features or small complement detail on the tableware or throw pillows. And batik itself is Indonesian famous heritage. Batik can be applied into almost everything, like the staff outďŹ t.

ÜBERWELL™ Concept
Buildings and spaces that optimize and support human health, well-being, comfort, and performance. Adhere to the Bau-Biologie or Building Biology principles which are about the study of healthy buildings. The Überwell™ design focuses on the core requirements for a healthy environment (water, air, lighting, temperature, and sound) to achieve the greatest impact on overall well-being and performance. Überwell™ concept is firmly grounded on the following fundamental principles of the "Bau Biologie" or Building Biology : - Creating building and spaces that support human health and optimize overall performance. - Going beyond green by going beyond the standard material, methods and construction practices and by integrating ecology and biology with sound health practices. - Bringing together design methods and technology to create healthy living and work spaces which sustain the health of its occupants and the planet. - Raising awareness, providing solutions, and promoting effective ecological practices for the future generations. 5 elements to improve
