I am Sabrina Theodoroff, a graphic designer, possibly the graphic designer for you. I am also a veteran, a wife, and mother. Welcome to my design portfolio, a book where you will see samples of my work, insight into my design process for each project, and I hope that you will see work that inspires you to hire me. I am proud of the work I have accomplished over the last four years. I am a graduate of the Academy of Art University, I attended 100% online from February 2016 to May 2020. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. I served in the Army for five years before pursuing my graphic design degree. During my time in the Army, I worked in special electronics repair and fulfilled many administrative and leadership. The concept of my work ethic is based on the idea that there is always work that can be done. I am a team player, who will always maintain the attitude of a student, one of growth and learning. I will try my best to accomplish the goals of the team.

PROJECT TITLE VIY — Vote It Yourself

CATEGORY Branding, UX Design

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Modern consumers love the idea of subscription boxes when they have to do with a niche that they are personally interested in. This app combines the power of a subscription services with the consumer lead “voting” to chose which craft or design will be included each quarter in the “Vote It Yourself” subscription box.

KIND OF PROJECT Branding, Visual System, Practical Deliverable

PROJECT CONCEPT As of 2015, sales of art supplies grew about 7% and now make up a $1.14 billion market. According to Dana Macke, lifestyles and leisure analyst at market research firm Mintel, most of the market for arts and crafts materials in the U.S. probably comes from enthusiasts, not just professionals.

PROJECT TITLE Twenty Mule Team

CATEGORY Package Design

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Twenty Mule Team has a rich history, dating back to 1891. Borax, the company’s only product sold, was discovered in 1881 in Death Valley, The name of the company comes from teams of 20 mules that were used to move millions of pounds of Borax from remote mines in Death Valley to the railroad at Mojave.

KIND OF PROJECT Digital Package Design, 3D Branding

PROJECT CONCEPT Borax is an all natural additive and alternative to other household cleaners. Now Twenty Mule Team is expanding the product line to include all-natural household cleaners and boosters.

PROJECT TITLE Good As Gold — Music Festival

CATEGORY Branding

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Social responsibility music festival visual system design. This project is based on the concept of a musical benefit for childhood cancer research and fund raising. This is a subject close to my heart, so I wanted to create a visual system that was fun, hip and would draw “attendees” to the event.

KIND OF PROJECT Visual System, Digital Mock-Up

PROJECT CONCEPT The concept for this project is based on the subject matter. Gold is the childhood cancer ribbon color and childhood cancer awareness month is September. I wanted this project to be informative as well as convey a message of hope.

PROJECT TITLE Tell Wes Anderson I Love Him

CATEGORY Print Design

PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project for this class comprised of designing an 80-page book, hard-bound book, from beginning to end. The general topic was “Experimental Artisans”, I chose to design my book after one of my film making idols, Wes Anderson.

KIND OF PROJECT Print, Branding, Digital

PROJECT CONCEPT A lot of my inspiration is coming from the in film graphic design pieces that are in Wes Anderson’s movies. I am enjoying the idea of a throwback feel, repetitive patterns, aging the page, and color blocking. I also find his work really witty, snarky even, and I believe there is a lot of inspiration in that kind of attitude.

PROJECT TITLE Puer — Baby Talk, Translated

CATEGORY Logo Design

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Our audience would be able to translate their baby’s babble patterns to better communicate to and understand their children at an earlier age. Being able to communicate with a baby at much younger age means being able to soothe and teach starting off much younger.

KIND OF PROJECT Sketch work, Logo design, App advertisement

The benefits of this are beyond measure. Any parent who has had a sick child knows how hard it is to get them to calm down, so, the child, through the Puer app, will be able to understand certain concepts that go along with early childhood developmental milestones and goals..

PROJECT TITLE Timeless by Citizen

CATEGORY Package Design

PROJECT DESCRIPTION The name “Citizen� speaks to the belief of inclusion with a multi-cultural mindset to create timepieces that can be enjoyed by citizens all over the world. It makes sense that a brand that goes hand in hand with adventure, outdoors, and durability could potentially expand its brand into the realm of clothing, accessories, and in this projects case, skin care. Every adventurer and athlete needs to take care of their body, especially their skin.

PROJECT TITLE The Office Convention

CATEGORY Branding, Digital Mock-Up

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Since its premiere on NBC in March 2005, “The Office” has established itself as a genuine hit. The reason why people love the show is because it is extremely relatable, heartfelt, and hilarious, on many levels. It is easily quotable and no matter how many times one binge watches the series, something new is always discovered. This project is a love letter to “The Office”. I created The Office Convention from scratch and tried to stay as loyal to the show concepts and themes as possible.
