TRAVEL & ACCESSORIES

These beautiful bags are hand-woven by our groups in Kenya from local sisal plants. Our producers harvest the sisal, extract the fibers, dry them, dye them, spin threads and weave the baskets. The bags have details of genuine leather.

The top of the bag can be rolled, or unrolled for extra space and locks with a zipper for extra security. The front strap is made of leather and is secured with a practical magnetic lock.

Padded computer pocket and a pocket for smaller items inside the backpack. The backpack also has two padded side pockets and a front pocket.

NEW! Cotton canvas backpack, sewn at our workshop in Jashore, Bangladesh from our own handloomed fabric.

The back has adjustable shoulder straps and padded back.

The traditional “Dhaka” purses with an updated design. Hand embroidery on cotton. The purses are stuffed and lined, and are closed with a matching tassel zipper.

These beautiful wooden shoe horns are designed by the Norwegian product designer Sverre Uhnger and are produced at Others’ carpentry workshop in Jashore, Bangladesh.

Together with our head carpenter Anath and his team, Sverre has developed a functional product of good quality. The shoe horn is made from locally sourced Rain Tree wood and has been treated with a varnish consisting of natural local ingredients.

The shoe horn is available in two sizes, 60 cm and 20 cm. The smallest version is sold in a hand-sewn bag.

Our laundry bags and shoe bags are perfect for travel, letting the textiles breathe to prevent bad smell. They are also great for sorting laundry at home. The bags are hand-embroidered in Bangladesh.
