CENTRAL & LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT
GOVERNMENT SECURITY
REVIEW The value of any form of advertising is in reaching the right people and a lot of your money can be wasted if you spend too much on too few and after this recession advertising to government departments has got to become far more cost effective than it has been.
We are all looking for cost effective ways to promote our products and while Digital Media is the future and (increasingly) the present, there is still a lot that ‘Old Media’ has to offer specifically in our own familiarity with printed publications and in the form of display advertising which is still proven to be far more effective than that of ‘New Medias’ banner adverts or search engine promotions. Especially when it is going to such a targeted area. Government Security Review is a ‘New Media’ monthly products review magazine for the Purchasing Officers of Central and Local Government departments but designed on the basis of an ‘Old Media’ publication to give that well known feel and familiarity that only comes from printed publications and one that allows you the ability to continue with full display advertising to attract people’s attention to your products. Government Security Review is the first niche style fully integrated ‘New/Old Media’ publication that is always within easy reach, in fact its just a few click away from having it spread right across that screen that sits in front of them.

DID YOU KNOW? There are three prison services with 157 prisons, over 91,000 inmates and in the region of 50,000 staff England & Wales 139 Prisons Inmates 82,000+ Scotland Inmates
15 Prisons 7,600+
Northern Ireland 3 Prisons Inmates 1,500+ HM Prison Service England and Wales, The Northern Ireland Prison Service and the Scottish Prison Service are separate organisations and undertake their own procurement activities. For instance, the buyers in Scottish prisons can purchase direct from companies up to £20,000 where as the Northern Ireland Prisons can only purchase goods and services for up to £10,000 before they are put out for tender. So as you can see it is important to know each system in every area of Central and Local Government and how it works if you want to do business with them. Even if you have already secured tenders for your products there is a good chance that purchasing officers from one area of government have no idea about you or your product.
If you don’t show anyone what you have – how can they decide if what you have is what they want ?
