Sweet and Sour Chicken Hi everyone, today we are going to make Sweet and Sour Chicken. Chinese Sweet and Sour Chicken is main dish in Chinese cuisine and is mostly liked in Asia, Europe and America. It can be eaten with boiled rice and alone too. So, let’s get started.

Cut your chicken in approximately 1 inch cubes.

Place your chicken in a bowl and spread your corn starch on it. Then mix the chicken and cornstarch.

Heat your oil in a pan and deep fry your chicken. At this point, chicken needs the high heat. Just cook your chicken partially at this point.

Cut your capsicum similar to the size of your chicken. Remove the white part of green pepper because it might be possible this will become bitter after cooking. Cut pineapple and onion in the same size as the chicken.

For stir frying your vegetables, heat your pan first. When smoke comes from pan, add your cooking oil.

Now add your capsicum, onion and pineapple.

After 1 or 2 minutes, add vinegar, sugar, ketchup and sesame oil.

Let this mixture cook for 2 to 3 minutes at high heat, then add half cooked chicken. After adding chicken, stir fry this for a couple of minutes more.

Now it’s time to thicken your sweet and sauce chicken. Mix about 5 tablespoons of water and nearly 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in a small bowl. Add this blend in your pan. Keep stir frying for a couple of minutes more to let the ingredients mix with one another.
