It should also cover medical expenses for your new-born baby for up to 90 days from the day of delivery and even cover vaccination expenses till your little one turns 1.


Therefore, if you are plan on getting married and starting a family, it makes sense to get the right amount of protection now. If you wait for too long, it might be too late to get maternity coverage. Remember to ask your insurance provider about maternity cover, especially the aspects related to waiting periods and the limit up to which expenses are covered as all plans have different workings in this regard.
