So what is bounce and the purpose of it?
Bounce on a wedge is the angle created between the leading edge and the lowest point of ‘the sole’ - the area of the club that hits through the ground as it makes contact with the ball. Bounce provides forgiveness on wedges to strike the ball well even when mistakes occur.
The type of effect on which to play with. the ground is or the greenside (not much sand) with less bounce play courses you can use but of course, level.
The degree of loft on a wedge affects the trajectory on how the ball flies when you hit the ball, eg. The higher loft (60 deg) the higher the ball will go with a softer landing.
The reason why wedges on “harder” want the club the ball, that thin/ shanked chip/ pitch in has less bounce club bouncing ball before
