Lori Escalante, president and CEO of Escalante Concrete, visited Saguaro Ranch after she found out her company would be pouring foundations for the homes. The moment she pulled into the community, she fell in love. “I have lived in the Tucson area my whole life, I grew up here,” she said, “and I just think Saguaro Ranch is one of the most beautiful places in the Southern Arizona area. It’s like a national park back there!”

Escalante purchased a Miramonte lot with panoramic views overlooking Tucson and mountain vistas. “It’s just beautiful. I’m on a ridge top, and I can probably see all the way to Mexico on a clear day,” she laughs. Her home is currently under construction and will be just as individual as any of those in Saguaro Ranch. In addition to her upgrades to the interior, she says, “I did quite a bit of customization of the outdoor space, especially the guest house which doubles as a pool house. It’s functional but perfect for hosting parties or family gatherings.”

“I’m really excited for the future when the community is filled with neighbors. I think it will draw people that share a love of nature and the beautiful Sonoran Desert,” she says. Escalante purchased Moonlight Canyon Lot 05 for herself, and Lot 37 as an investment property. “It’s the views, the landscape, the proximity to town and the I-10. It’s just everything.”
