To put customized weekly knowledge on pregnancy and childbirth directly in the hands of expectant Afghan mothers in rural communities with limited access to maternal health care using a SMS/text and IVR / voice-based mobile health solution.

A Workforce Development and Entrepreneurship Training Program A micro-franchise program. Using an Avon-style distribution system AWCC will provide products to this micro-franchisee on a credit basis. Women become phone dealer/top up card microfranchisees who use their natural networks of family, friends and neighbors to provide the most effective distribution channel to rural and hard-to-reach women customers.
