ABA background: Afghanistan Builders Association (ABA) is the largest growing construction association in Afghanistan established with the support of USAID and construction companies in 2004 with the delegation offices in Jalalabad, Kandahar and will soon open its delegation offices in Mazar-eSharif, Herat and Gardez. ABA concentrates its all efforts to professionalize and strengthen construction sector in Afghanistan by providing various capacity development and construction safety trainings. Reference to all ABA services and promotional activities for Afghanistan construction sector, we are proud having over 500 members from engineering construction companies. Furthermore, ABA will provide all USACE required trainings to Afghanistan construction companies.

We provide Capacity Development & Education Programs for Afghan Engineers with the cooperation of USACE. We help Support International Investors, Companies doing business in Afghanistan in Construction/Mining/Energy & Water. ABA help support service provider companies in construction/Mining/Energy & Water by introducing them to our member companies. Being recognized as a source for certifying companies, and professionals. Helping with development of civil engineering local building codes. Providing employment opportunities for graduated engineering students/interns and skill labors. Provide Construction Capacity Development Trainings.

100 Million worth construction projects are being implemented by ABA (A Category) Member Companies throughout Afghanistan as a prime contractor.
50 Million worth construction projects are being implemented by ABA (B Category) Member Companies throughout Afghanistan as a prime contractor. 10-30 Million worth construction projects are being implemented by ABA (C Category) Member Companies throughout Afghanistan as a prime & Sub-contractor. This category consist of Construction Companies who are able to implement 500 Thousand USD projects to 7 Million USD Projects as a Prime and Sub-Contractor
