COMMSKILLS PORTFOLIO: First Semester
- Lisa He Section 007
“What drawing skill did you improve the most?” The first semester of communication skills taught me a lot of ways of representing structure and space. One of the drawing skills I think I improved most in is the sketching of cross-sections of buildings. Although it was something that I could not understand at first, my instructor explained and showed to me what the purpose of drawing cross-sections is. Now, I find it fun to visualize the cross-sections of buildings because many times they produce interesting shapes that we do not otherwise see. “What skills would you like to develop more next semester?” I’d like to learn how to blend drawings into photos using Photoshop more realistically.
