Kohinur Akter is a pavement dweller at Osmani Park, Gulistan Area in Dhaka city. She got married at early stage. She and her husband live at Osmani Park, Gulistan. She didn’t know who are her father and mother, when she born her parents left her.
Kohinur Akter has different occupation, at day time she begging at Gullistan area and night time she occupied as a sex worker. She also getting drug with his husband. Her husband forced her to earn money at any cost. Sometimes her husband bit her and torture for earn money. At early stage of pregnancy, Md. Hemayet Uddin Abir (Peer Educator) Noor-a-alam(Peer Educator) and Saiduzzaman(Field coordinator) from LINKUP (SRHR) project Nari Maitree motivated her to get health service at satellite point in Osmani Park, Gulistan. Then she got health service at this satellite point, her registration code2140800010. She got proper treatment at early stage. Then her husband and she went somewhere and we lost her for several months. Then last stage of pregnancy period, Kohinur Akter came to Osmani Park and our LINKUP Peer Educator as soon as possible brought her Nawatola, Maternity Clinic, Nari Maitree. At this time without any guardian, they went this hospital and manage
clinics authority to immediate safe delivery. Delivery occurred at Friday (01.30 pm); Date: 12 September, 2014.
Ultimately, Kohinur Akter got ANC service and safe delivery from LINKUP (SRHR) Project.
Then she have no money for getting food herself, our LINKUP Peer Educator collect some money from our office and give her this money to buy some food for herself.
