Parish News Bishop Barres Makes Pastoral Visit to St. Mary’s

This past Saturday, Fr. Bob joyfully welcomed Bishop John O. Barres to St. Mary’s to celebrate the 5:00 PM Vigil Mass. The Bishop took the time to meet parishioners before the Mass, concelebrated by Fr. Bob, Fr. Dominik, Fr. Kingsley, and Fr. Matthew. After the beautiful celebration of the Eucharist, Bishop Barres went to Immaculata Hall, where he met with students of the High School’s Performing Arts Program. The cast and crew of Cinderella were surprised by the visit and enthusiastically received his words of appreciation for their God-given talents. He prayed with them and asked for God’s blessings upon them before they took their positions to start the show. Thank you to Bishop Barres for the wonderful visit to our church and school. His presence truly blessed us!
