Our Mission

BE INSPIRED. LIFE AT SAINT MARY’S Whether you’re a boarding or day student, Saint Mary’s School is your stepping stone to independence. Here, your family grows to include classmates and caring adults who walk alongside you in friendship and encouragement. You’ll be assigned your own advisor as well as a “Saint Sister”—a student-mentor who can ease your transition and help you dive into life at Saint Mary’s. You’ll discover the many benefits of our lively 24/7 campus community, including access to amazing facilities and resources late into the evening, fun weekend activities, and more than 25 clubs that align with your personal interests and ambitions. From theme dinners to dances to s’mores on the terrace, you’ll be part of our traditions, new and old. Here, you will feel safe and supported as you spread your wings, take risks, and try new things.

OUR EPISCOPAL HERITAGE Our rich Episcopal heritage informs our values and calls us to respect the worth and dignity of every human being. Spiritual life on campus centers on our historic Saint Mary’s Chapel. A student vestry works closely with our chaplain, who leads worship and spiritual formation programs. We gather for chapel twice a week and welcome guest speakers of different faiths and backgrounds. Our chaplain is available to the entire Saint Mary’s School community for pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance.

Saint Mary’s School, a community dedicated to academic excellence and personal achievement, prepares young women for college and life.
