"Good evening everyone and welcome back to the Premier Plus Stadium for tonight's United Counties League Premier Division South game."

Today we extend a warm welcome to the Players, Officials and Supporters of Desborough Town and we hope you enjoy our hospitality here this evening in what's our first game under the lights of the new season.

Our FA Cup adventure ended after a gallant effort from the lads, eventually going out of the competition at Fakenham Town, losing 2-1 after one hundred and twenty minutes of extra time in Tuesday night's Extra Preliminary Round Replay.

Saturday saw us return to United Counties League Premier Division South action as we travelled up to previously unbeaten Leicester Nirvana and returned home with all three points courtesy of an absolute stunning goal scored by seventeen year old Israel Ajana

Tonight's opponents were held to a goalless draw at home by Cogenhoe United. They have only scored two league goals so them as historically, they have been a bit o can be found in John Walker's Match Preview
